Dietary Specials is launching a new range of frozen gluten- and wheat-free foods that taste as good, if not better, than their conventional alternatives. The new products – the first of their kind in the UK– include sausage rolls and ready-to-use shortcrust pastry. They will join Dietary Specials’ existing range of frozen pizzas, pies, ready meals and award-winning Yorkshire puddings. The new pastry products hit supermarket shelves on 15 June 2009 and will give coeliacs and people suffering from a wheat intolerance the chance to enjoy ready-made pastry for the first time.
