mushroom quiches
Delicious mushroom quiches, serve garnished with a fresh green salad.
Suitable for people diagnosed with coeliac disease, those who are suffering from a gluten and wheat allergy or intolerance.
- Serves: 4 mini quiches
- Preparation time: 15-20 minutes
- Cooking time: 30-35 minutes
- Oven temperature: 190°C/170°Fan/Gas Mark 5
ingredients
- 200g DS-gluten free shortcrust pastry , pack, defrosted
- 3 Spring Onion s , Chopped
- 115g Mushrooms , (4oz), sliced & sauteed
- 2 large Egg s , beaten
- 0 , 0
- 150ml of either Milk , (¼pt) single cream, yoghurt
- Seasoning ,
method
1. Place block of pastry onto a surface dusted with gluten free flour and knead for 1 minute2. Use pastry to line 4 mini flan tins (8 ½ cm base x 10 ½ cm top). Place on a baking sheet and bake blind in tins for 10 minutes.
3. Add spring onions and mushrooms
4. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour into pastry cases.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
6. Leave in the tins for 5 minutes to cool before removing.
