Dietary Specials - Gluten Free - it's my choice

satsuma, kiwi and lime dessert


Suitable for people diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, those who are suffering from a gluten and wheat allergy or intolerance.

  • Serves: 2
  • Preparation time: 5 minutes


ingredients

  • 2 Satsuma s ,
  • 2 Kiwi s , Fruits
  • ½ Lime ,
  • 5mlsp Clear Honey , (1 tsp)
  • 15g Almonds , (½oz) flaked toasted

method

1. Peel the Satsuma’s and kiwis and slice the flesh horizontally.
2. Place the fruit in a bowl or onto serving plates.
3. Finely grate the rind from the lime and sprinkle over the fruit. Squeeze the juice then put in a small bowl with the honey, stir together and pour over the fruit.
4. Sprinkle over the flaked almonds and serve.
