On the 5th July the DS team hit the road yet again to visit Exeter! Exeter Racecourse was our latest venue for the Big Gluten Free Event which was hosted by DS (Dietary Specials) and our sister brands Glutafin and Trufree. The Big Gluten Free Event consisted of two sessions, 3-5 pm and 6:30-8:30 pm and we were delighted to see over 300 attendees!



Our home economist Kay and our dietitian Mel also made an appearance! Attendees were treated to a gluten free cookery demonstration using Glutafin and DS products. They also listened to an interesting talk from Mel about living with coeliac disease, getting diagnosed and managing a gluten free diet with the opportunity to ask questions throughout.
 


We were also selling Trufree biscuits 2 for £2, everyone that made a purchase received a free sample of Trufree Choc Dippers. PLUS everyone that attended left with a free Glutafin goody bag! DS was also sampling jam tarts made with the gluten and wheat free shortcrust pastry and the gluten free sausage rolls, gluten free mozzarella and tomato pizza and the new gluten free Cornish slices all fresh from the oven!



We were also giving out the DS range leaflets which detail our full gluten free range and which stockists we supply to, 75 pence off Sainsburys coupons, afternoon Tea cookery DVD’s and our new DS ‘discover’ magazine!
