Hello readers, I have exciting news if you’re a Tesco Shopper.
 

Up until now it was mainly Sainsbury’s and Asda stores that stocked our gluten free frozen range, very frustrating if you don’t have one within a 20 mile radius which I know is the case for some of our customers with coeliac disease! I am pleased to say that the larger Tesco stores have just started supplying our gluten free frozen range, this includes our delicious gluten and wheat free Thin and Crispy Margherita Pizza (great on its own or just add your favourite toppings), traditional Beef Lasagne, Steak Pies, Sausage Rolls, Shortcrust Pastry and award winning Yorkshire Puddings! These are very versatile products as the majority of them you can serve warm or cold for dinner or to bring to parties. A lot of the coeliacs we speak to mention that it’s really hard to find convenient gluten free foods. Foods like our gluten free pizzas and sausage rolls are great because they are ready made, you can just cook them up in the oven. It’s great to have something you don’t have to make up from scratch if you have friends or family that are Coeliac or who avoid gluten and wheat.

 

Our home economist for Dietary Specials, Gill (a cooking genius), often makes us gluten and wheat free tartlets and pies to bring to the Food Fairs or on the road which are always a huge hit for the people who attend. We also have a selection of tips and recipes  using the Shortcrust Pastry including (all Gluten Free and Wheat Free obviously!) Mushroom Quiches, Spinach Ricotta and Sundried Tomato Quiches, Lemon Meringue Pie, Normandy Apple Tart, Cornish Pasties and Mini Savoury Tartlets, one word YUM.
 

We are also updating our packaging so you may come across the “before and afters” in the supermarkets so please let us know what you think.
