
We had a fantastic time at the Allergy and Gluten Free show this weekend (12th – 14th June), we were there to launch our fantastic new frozen products, gluten-free and wheat-free Sausage Rolls and Shortcrust Pastry.
Our cookery expert Gill demonstrated how easy and versatile the new pastry is, showcasing a number of sweet and savoury recipes. The reaction was fantastic and Gill’s creations went down a treat with everyone who tasted them. Many people were surprised at how easy the pastry was to handle and how it didn’t crumble as much as gluten-free and wheat-free pastry you make yourself from scratch or using a packet mix.
We also had a marvellous response to our new gluten-free and wheat-free Sausage Rolls, which we were sampling at the stand, as soon as we cooked some for people to try they were all gone! Lots of people remarked that they hadn’t had a sausage roll in years and for others it was their first opportunity to try a sausage roll.
Our new frozen gluten free and wheat free Sausage Rolls and Shortcrust Pastry are available as of this week in Sainsbury’s. Hope you enjoy the new products, let us know what you think!
