Nutrition Point recognise that when you are following a special diet, it is of the utmost importance that you can be sure that your “free from” products are completely safe.
All manufacturing processes associated with Nutrition Point have rigorous procedures in place to ensure products are never contaminated with gluten or wheat. In addition to this Nutrition Point also have a dedicated in–house UK laboratory where every product is tested BEFORE it is released to the retailer. This ensures it complies with the company standard gluten level of no more than 20 parts per million (the UK government standard is 200 parts per million).
The onsite laboratory is one of only two laboratories in the UK to be UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Services) accredited, which means the test, procedures and systems are thoroughly scrutinised on a regular basis to verify the test is being carried out correctly.
As well as a commitment to a safe gluten free product, an emphasis is placed on ensuring delivered product quality reaches the desired level - just because the product is gluten free and wheat free it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t taste as good, if not better than ‘standard’ products. Nutrition Point colleagues even hold regular taste panels to ensure this taste standard is achieved!
